More about Extreme
The band – Gary Cherone (vocals), Nuno Bettencourt (guitar), Pat Badger (bass) and Kevin Figueiredo (drums) – broke through with the groundbreaking album Pornograffitti (1990), which gave the world hits like the chart-topping “More Than Words”, as well as rock classics like “Hole Hearted” and “Decadence Dance”. The success continued with the magnificent III Sides to Every Story and the heavier Waiting for the Punchline, before Extreme made a strong comeback with Saudades de Rock (2008). In 2023, they were again widely acclaimed with the album Six. At the center is the guitar phenomenon Nuno Bettencourt, one of the absolute best guitarists of his generation, whose unique combination of speed, groove and melodic finesse has inspired musicians all over the world.
