On February 12, 2026, indie veterans The Kooks will be coming to Annexet to deliver genuine Britpop at its best - raw, energetic and loving.

19 years ago, The Kooks made their monumental breakthrough with their debut album Inside In/Inside Out. With its hybrid of 60s influences, 90s Britpop and early 2000s post-punk, the album became something of a modern classic - filled with youthful intensity, timeless melodies and inevitable choruses. Since then, the band has attracted many new listeners and continued to develop their expression, of which the dance-experimental 10 Tracks to Echo in the Dark is the latest in the series.

But after almost two decades together, The Kooks realized that a profound change was needed. When they stripped everything down, they were left with the very foundation, the core that they themselves described as “a shared vision to spread joy and love through well-written pop music.” The result of this work is the new album Never Know, where the band returned to the same spontaneous energy and atmosphere that permeated their debut.

Annexet is located in Johanneshov in south of Stockholm. Within easy walking distance there are six metro stations including Gullmarsplan - Stockholm's second largest hub for public transport with trams and buses.

Practical information

It is not permitted to bring umbrellas, bottles, professional cameras, food, or drinks into the arena. No bags larger than 40x40x20 cm are allowed inside. All bags will be checked at the entrance.

Many visitors are expected and as the level of security is high, entry may take time. Please arrive in advance.
