More about Bleachers
Since their debut album Strange Desire from 2014, Bleachers, fronted by the thirteen-time Grammy-winning artist Jack Antonoff, has built a huge, passionate following over four studio albums, and has become known for their impressive live shows and infectious energy.
Following the release of Bleacher's self-titled fourth album in 2024, which Rolling Stone described as "spiritual ecstasy that can only be attained through the platonic perfection of pop formula", the band embarked on a sold-out world tour. Billboard described the Coachella performance as a "ferocious, life-affirming stage presence". The tour will make two stops in Scandinavia this winter, one in Oslo and one in Stockholm on Friday, November 13.
On the new album, everything for ten minutes, we hear each of the six band members reach new creative heights. Last week, the band released the single the van. Earlier this year, they released the infectious song you and forever, along with an Alex Lockett visual with actress Margaret Qualley, followed by the Americana-influenced song dirty wedding dress. At times, the music takes a step into the darkness, but as a whole the album is an optimistic record that feels edgy and hopeful. The listener is transported between voice-filled folk rock, shimmering soul pop and the saxophone-accompanied New Jersey sound that Bleachers have become known for.
