In recent years, Dermot Kennedy has gone from being a busker on the street corners of Dublin to becoming one of the most beloved voices in the world. The journey is well-known but still remarkable: from cold guitar-numbed hands on the street to sold-out arenas, from homemade EP releases to multi-platinum songs with billions of streams. And when you hear his raspy, almost weathered voice carry melodies filled with both fire and vulnerability in songs like “Paradise,” “Power Over Me,” and “Kiss Me,” it’s easy to understand how everything happened so quickly.

With the 2023 album Sonder, Kennedy also proved that he’s not just a voice for big emotions, but a songwriter willing to broaden his expression—from raw, acoustic intimacy to more atmospheric electronic soundscapes.

Since then, he has continued to evolve, including on the 2024 EP I’ve told the trees everything and the more recent run of songs such as “Let Me In,” where he returns to a more stripped-back production, but with the weight of new experience. Always with a strong focus on melody, always with the sense that something is at stake.

Now, as Dermot Kennedy returns to Sweden, he does so as a fully formed live artist—the kind of performer whose audience sings every word just as loudly as he does. On May 12, Annexet will be filled with exactly that: one of the most expressive voices of our time, in his true element.

Getting here

Annexet is located in Johanneshov in southern Stockholm. The nearest station is Globen, but to avoid congestion you can also use Gullmarsplan, Skärmarbrink, Blåsut, Sandsborg or Enskede gård. Plan your trip with SL travel planner.

Construction work in the area makes access difficult, and during events traffic is heavy and parking is limited. We recommend leaving your car at home and using public transport. If you need to drive, use a park-and-ride facility and take public transport for the final part of your journey. Information about park-and-ride facilities can be found here.

Practical information

For smooth entry
It is not allowed to bring bags larger than 40×40×20 cm, umbrellas, bottles, professional cameras, food, or drinks into the arena. A cloakroom will be available in the arena for a fee of 50 SEK per item.

Large crowds are expected, and due to high security levels, entry may take time. Please arrive early for a smooth entry.

On-site assistance
If you experience any issues with your tickets, please visit the ticket office at Globentorget or contact one of our event hosts for assistance. Any complaints should always be made on site. After the event has ended, the tickets are considered accepted by you as a visitor.

Your tickets

To retrieve your app tickets, you need to download the Stockholm Live app. You can do this via the App Store or Google Play. If you already have the app, you may need to update to the latest version. An order confirmation is not sufficient; you must scan the QR code in the app to enter the arena.

Food & drinks

Garden Bar & Restaurant
Start the evening with dinner or relaxed drinks in a stylish atmosphere before the concert at Annexet. The menu includes everything from juicy burgers to desserts and refreshing drinks. You’ll find the entrance to Garden Bar & Restaurant via Entrance 6. The restaurant is open until 20:45. Table reservations are not available.

Inside the arena, there are bars both on the floor level and balcony that close 30 minutes before the concert ends. The age limit at the bars is 18+, and valid ID may be required. There is also a kiosk at section A6 offering light meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages, open until the end of the show.
