RY X is coming to Annexet with the Dusk Tour in spring 2027

There is a very special tenderness in RY X's music. His supple, sensual expression seems to be rooted in a constant longing for closeness - to other people, to nature and to the spiritual. Since Australian singer, songwriter and producer Ry Cuming began releasing music under the name RY X, vulnerability has been the very starting point for an expression where the naked voice and acoustic instruments coexist with ambient soundscapes, electronic pulses and orchestral arrangements. And apparently the desire to reach out has been answered, with a new tour in the "Dusk Tour" that makes a tour stop at Annexet on April 17, 2027.

Tickets go on sale Friday, September 18 at 10:00 AM

More about RY X

From the debut album "Dawn" via "Unfurl" and "Blood Moon", RY X has reached over a billion streams, been awarded gold and platinum records and been nominated for a Grammy. He has played at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony and collaborated with orchestras such as the LA Philharmonic and the London Philharmonic, while also writing and producing music for artists such as Drake, Diplo, Black Coffee and John Legend. An unusually extensive career for music that still feels created for the distance between two people.

Next up is “DUSK”, RY X’s fourth studio album and a conscious return to organic instruments, stripped-down songs and the emotional vulnerability that has always been present in his music. The first single “Holy Water” is almost a distillation of that idea: a quiet prayer to the water in our bodies and its connection to the world outside, where the love between two people becomes as physical as it is spiritual. Every breath, mistake and sound has been allowed to remain on the tape – a kind of low-key revolt against a time where the human touch is in danger of being lost.

The same presence has long made RY X a unique live artist. On stage, his music can grow from skinless intimacy to something almost ceremonial, where the voice, acoustic instruments, electronic rhythms and carefully constructed layers make an entire room move as one body. In the spring of 2027, RY X will come to Annexet in Stockholm for a concert where the constant longing for closeness takes perhaps its most concrete form: people gathered in the same room, listening together.

Time schedule

We usually get holding times from the organizer a few days before the event. As soon as the times are confirmed, they will be published here! Please keep in mind that the nature of live events means that times are often approximate.

Getting here

Annexet is located in Johanneshov in southern Stockholm. The nearest station is Globen, but to avoid congestion you can also use Gullmarsplan, Skärmarbrink, Blåsut, Sandsborg or Enskede gård. Plan your trip with SL travel planner.

Construction work in the area makes access difficult, and during events traffic is heavy and parking is limited. We recommend leaving your car at home and using public transport. If you need to drive, use a park-and-ride facility and take public transport for the final part of your journey. Information about park-and-ride facilities can be found here.
