Future Islands invites you to a royal party on the 17th of May in Stockholm!

The Baltimore-based band, known for their infectious single "King of Sweden" released a couple of years ago, will fill Annexet with their electrifying presence this spring.

Synthpop/indie sensation Future Islands, led by Sam Herring, is once again ready to embrace Stockholm with open arms. With their unique blend of emotionally charged melodies and Herring's heartfelt stage presence, it's set to be an unforgettable evening. It's been far too long since their last visit, but now one of the world's best live bands is finally returning.

Currently, Future Islands is promoting their new album "People Who Aren't There Anymore." It's been four long years, but "People Who Aren't There Anymore" bridges the gap. The album feels like a reunion with an old dear friend or falling madly in love with an old crush all over again. It's a perfect mix of 80s pop and arena rock. This time, Future Islands has truly captured their immense live energy on record.

No bags are allowed at this event.
The Swedish Police Authority has introduced a total ban on bringing bags to major events. Exceptions can only be granted for medical reasons upon presenting a valid medical certificate.

18:30 Entrance 2 opens - Come and hang out with other fans at Legends!

19:00 Annexet opens

20:00 JOON kicks off the night and then it's time for Future Islands to take the stage!

Getting here

Annexet is located in Johanneshov in south of Stockholm. Within easy walking distance there are six metro stations including Gullmarsplan - Stockholm's second largest hub for public transport with trams and buses.

Eat & drink

Hang out with other fans with something nice to eat or drink at our chill bar Legends by entrance 2! Nearby there will alse be a kiosk available with light food and drinks. The food areas are open from 18:30 - 21:00. You'll also find a bar inside Annexet on the ground floor.

Practical information

No bags, including small handbags, fanny packs, canvas bags and plastic bags, may be brought inside. It is also not permitted to bring umbrellas, bottles, system cameras, food and drinks into the arena. There will be a cloakroom for outerwear (no bags) at entrance 2 at a cost of 50SEK/jacket.

Many people are expected and as the level of security is high, entry may take time. For the smoothest entrance, arrive in advance before the event.

Your tickets
If you have chosen app tickets (Mobile ID tickets) via AXS, you need to download the Stockholm Live app or update the app if you have the older version, to retrieve your tickets. You can do this via the App Store or Google Play.
